Session 2.1 – Let’s get started!
In this exercise, you will reflect on the futures of business education and discuss your thoughts with a colleague.
Step 1: Listen to the podcast interview with Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the OECD, on the futures of SDG 4 (Quality education). It is part of Inclusive and future-ready education series. (Duration ~ 30 minutes).
Step 2: Think about the future of business education.
- How did the interview themes resonate with your ideas about education at business schools?
- What might business education look like in 20 years?
- What about your disciplinary specialization?
- Which changes from the status quo do you consider probable?
- Which changes do you consider desirable?
- Can you think of something really absurd?
Step 3: Invite a colleague for a coffee chat—ideally someone you know less well. Time allocation ~15 minutes.
