The Multiple Futures of Business Education
Session 2.1 — Let’s get started!
In this exercise, we invite you to learn and think of the futures of business education and to discuss your thoughts with a colleague.
Step 1: Listen to the Podcast with an interview with Andreas Schleicher, the Director for Education and Skills at the OECD, on the futures of SDG 4. It is part of Inclusive and future-ready education series. The podcast is in alignment with the notion of future inclusive education. (Duration 30 minutes).
Step 2: Think about the future of business education.
- How did the interview themes resonate with your ideas about education at business schools?
- How will business education look like in 20 years?
- What about your own disciplinary specialisation area?
- What kind of changes in relation to the status quo do you consider probable?
- What do you consider desirable changes?
- And can you think of something really absurd?
- Step 3: Invite a colleague of yours for a joint coffee break, preferably someone who is not your closest colleague, but a bit more remotely acquainted. Time allocation ~15 minutes.
